So my last journal entry was in the cold snap in Moscow. Now it's boiling hot and I'm in NYC. Here to do a secret subway painting project. I am on here pretty rarely now. It's maybe easier to check my Flickr account:

-20 outside, - 25 tomorrow..... it's gonna be a very very chilly week. All the more reason to sit inside where it's warm and I still have sensation in my face!!!

Well things are sweet here. Currently working on another tattoo design, starting some positive things related to printing t-shirts, and finalising some work for CURVY 2010......

I'll be in Estonia for NYE. Never been there, and looking forward to a break from the chaos of Moscow.....

Well I had such high hopes for summer being the ideal time to get some serious painting in.... but then I was in London, my parents came to Moscow for a few weeks, then I went to Kiev in the Ukraine, and now it's the end of summer and I don't have very much to show for it!

Then again, I did some really fantastic abandoned building exploration (might post some pics, actually, my photography has improved a lot), and yesterday finally got about 4 hours of painting in at a hospital with some other artists, so it's not all bad news.

Just did a really massive wall for a company called Grizzly in an industrial part of Polozhaevskaya, Moscow. Got sunburnt as hell.... summer has finally hit! Then did this crazy photoshoot with the guys from Reform Press the next day, where they did some nuts stuff to me.

Also doing some bag and t-shirt designs for Grizzly too.

Off to London on 14 June. Hope to meet with a few people there about some projects, may not get time and energy to paint on the streets, we'll see.

STRAFE

Just found out I got into CURVY 09. For people who don't know it, it's a annual mag that profiles work by 100 female artists from around the world. They had over 1600 submissions, so I am pretty stoked to be in it.

Now furiously getting paintings done for their exhibition so I can get them couriered to Sydney.... also have to factor in an extra 5 days, because if you export ANY art whatsoever from Russia, you have to verify that you aren't exporting relics or priceless works that are a loss to the country and that means standing in line at an office and waiting for them to verify this. Yep. Love this shit.........
